​Maryland Civilian Wear & Carry Course

This 16 hour course is for students that want to apply for the Maryland Wear & Carry Permit.

Safe practices are always observed while going over carry procedures, legal issues, use of force, range etiquette, loading/unloading & clearing, fundamentals of marksmanship (presentation, clearing stoppages, common errors), fundamentals of manipulation and all vital mechanics of pistol operation. The techniques rehearsed will give every shooter the tools to become a more confident, proficient and safe while carrying/using a firearm. 

This training far exceeds the Maryland State Police requirements for the Wear & Carry Permit. 

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive the approved certificate of completion.
This course meets and exceeds the requirements for the Maryland HQL (Handgun Qualification License) which is required in order to purchase a handgun in Maryland. Maryland HQL training certification comes free with this course.
